Don't want to associate myself with Gen VK Singh anymore, says Hazare

Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare on Thursday said he does not want to associate himself with Gen V K Singh anymore since the former army chief had shared a dais with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Gen VK Singh spoke at Modi's rally for ex-servicemen in Rewari on September 15.

Hazare, a former armyman, said the retired general had never expressed a desire to join any party while he was touring with him some months ago.

Hazare is on his way to Delhi to attend a meeting of his organisation's officer-bearers for the next course of action to pressurise the government to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill.

Hazare said he was likely to meet Gen VK Singh on Saturday and ask if he really wanted to join any political outfit.
